Vazhakkai kootu is a tasty and yummy side dish for rice, which also needs very few ingredients and less time to prepare. My mom always prepares this kootu and serves it along with hot rice and a tsp of sesame oil on top, Its mouth watering every time she serves this kootu. Also, this kootu does not use any coconut and any other fancy spices in it.

      2. Also do not over cook the kootu as it will affect the texture and taste of the dish.
      3. You may increase or decrease the amount of red chili powder as per your spice level.
