Mango Lassi / Sweet lassi with mango - with video

Lassi is a popular Indian drink that comes in different flavors like salt lassi, sweet lassi and some have real fruit. Mango lassi is a yogurt-based smoothie prepared with real mango (chopped or pureed) and yogurt.
Mango lassi / Sweet lassi

Ingredients:
Serves 2
Preparation time: 10 minutes
      • 1 cup – Yogurt / curd ( Not sour)
      • 1/2 cup – Mango puree ( I have used store bought)
      • 1/4 tsp – Milk (room temperature or cold milk)
      • 1/8 tsp – Cardamom powder
      • Honey or sugar to taste
      • Roasted and chopped nuts for garnishing

Preparation method:
  1. Take a blender, add yogurt, mango puree, milk, cardamom powder and honey or sweet, blend it well for 2 to 3 minutes. Refrigerate the mango lassi until use.
  2. Pour the lassi in a serving glass, sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder and chopped nuts on top, serve cold.

Notes:
  • I have used honey, you may replace it with sugar or any other sweetener of your choice.
  • You may increase the quantity of milk a little to reach the consistency you wish.
  • I have used store bought mango puree / pulp in this recipe, you may replace it with freshly chopped mangoes.
