Beetroot pomegranate juice / Beetroot juice / Healthy juice with beetroot

Healthy drink prepared with the combination of beetroot and pomegranate. People who are weak and suffering from anemia, may take this juice to get energized and to increase their hemoglobin level. I am having it weekly once or twice and also giving it to my daughter. It is refreshing and really working for me.




Ingredients:
Serves 2 to 3
  • 1 medium – Beetroot
  • 1/2 no – Pomegranate (big sized)(around 1 cup)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Water as needed

Preparation method:
  1. Wash the beetroot thoroughly and chop them into cubes or pieces enough to grind. Keep it aside.
  2. Wash the pomegranate and collect the seeds which are around 1 cup. Keep it aside.
  3. Take a blender, add chopped beetroot,pomegranate and a pinch of salt, chop them into pieces using pulse mode (wiper). Then grind it to a puree, add water as needed.
  4. Strain the juice and add required water ( I added 2 cups of water), serve cold.



Notes:
  • Salt is completely optional. You may exclude it.
  • Taste the juice, then dilute it based on your taste buds.
