Cold coffee / Iced coffee / how to make cold coffee with ice cream

Cold Coffee is a simple, easy and a refreshing drink to beat the summer heat. I have prepared cold coffee with Ice cream, that is smooth, creamy, and rich. For more delicious taste, you may serve cold coffee with Ice cream and chocolate syrup on top.

Ingredients:

Serves 2

      • 1 cup – Milk (cold)
      • 1 1/2 tsp – Coffee (Mix 1 tsp instant coffee with 2 tbsp warm water)
      • 1 tbsp – Fresh cream
      • 1 tbsp – Vanilla Ice cream
      • 1/2 tsp – Honey (or add as needed) / sugar
      • 1/4 cup – Ice cubes
      • Chocolate syrup and ice cream for garnishing

Preparation method:

  1. To make coffee, mix a tsp of instant coffee powder with 2 to 3 tbsp of warm water. Let it cool.
  2. Put ice cubes and prepared coffee to a blender, blend it well till it is slightly frothy.
  3. Add cold milk, fresh cream, vanilla Ice cream, honey to a blender and blend it again till frothy.
  4. Pour it over a serving glasses. Garnish with vanilla Ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. Serve immediately.

Notes:

  • You may increase or decrease the amount of coffee as per your taste. I preferred to have it strong, so I added 2 tsp of coffee.
  • For cold milk, boil 1 cup of milk and once it reached room temperature, keep it in refrigerator until use.
  • You may increase or decrease the quantity of honey as per your sweetness. You have to be extra careful while adding honey or sugar, because we are also using vanilla Ice cream which also adds sweetness to the drink.
