Oats banana waffles/Gluten free waffles

Gluten free waffles prepared with oats, corn flour and banana. It is very simple and easy to digest.Serve with maple syrup and fruits of your choices.


Ingredients: Yields 6 to 8 waffles
  • 1 cup - Instant oats
  • 1/4 cup - Corn flour
  • 1 no - Banana
  • 1 no - Egg
  • 1 cup - Milk (or add as needed for the consistency)
  • 2 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Baking soda
  • Few drops of vanilla essence
  • Salt to taste


Preparation method:
  1. Grind the instant oats to a fine powder and set it aside.
  2. Take a mixing bowl, add a banana and mash it thoroughly. Followed by an egg, beat it well. Add brown sugar, salt to taste, vanilla essence and milk, beat well thoroughly.
  3. In an another mixing bowl, add oats flour, corn flour, baking powder and baking soda, mix well.
  4. Now mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients together without any lumps. Set it aside for 5 to 10 mins.
  5. Meanwhile heat the waffle maker, spray some oil or butter and pour the batter over the tray. Let it cook until it well done and crisp.
  6. Yummy waffle is ready, serve with maple syrup and chopped banana slices on top.
