My blog www.7aumsuvai.com is celebrating its 7th birthday today. Thank you everyone, for making this possible. Let us celebrate this special occasion with a yummy dessert. Chocolate cake with Air fryer is a simple and yummy dessert in just 15 minutes. It was my second time trying cake recipes with Air fryer. My daughter asked me, to try the chocolate cake with chocolate balls inside and it was a big hit in our family. The cake was so soft, moist, fluffy and yummy.

Ingredients:
Serves 3 (depends on the size of your ramekin or baking bowl)
  • Wheat flour – 1/4 cup +1 tbsp
  • 3 tbsp – Sugar
  • 3 tbsp – Milk (room temperature)
  • 3 tbsp – Melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp – Cocoa powder
  • 1 no – Egg
  • 1/4 tsp – Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp – Vanilla essence
  • Icing sugar for garnishing
  • Chocolates as needed(I have used Lindor chocolate)

Preparation method:
  1. Coat the ramekins thoroughly with the melted butter. Take a mixing bowl, add egg and beat well. Add the melted butter, milk, vanilla essence and sugar to the beaten egg and mix gently till the sugar melts.
  2. Sieve the wheat flour, baking powder and cocoa powder over the wet ingredients. Mix well to combined until the batter becomes thick and creamy.
  3. Meanwhile preheat the air fryer at 390 F for 3 minutes. Pour cake batter in a ramekins, half batter first then put the chocolate in the middle and again pour the remaining half on top. Continue the process with the remaining batter.
  4. Now air fry your cake at 325 F for approximately 10 to 12 mins (depends on air fryer capacity). Insert a tooth pick to check if it is done perfectly. Leave to cool for a minute or two. Sprinkle Icing sugar on top and then serve.

Notes:
  • Cooking time depends on the capacity of your Air fryer. Mine took 10 minutes to cook.
  • Do not load your ramekins with full of batter (just fill half of the ramekins with batter), because you need room for cake to puff up.
  • The batter should be creamy and in flowing consistency without any lumps.
  • You can serve with vanilla ice cream.
