Protein rich laddu recipe prepared with healthy ingredients which is especially good for young girls and women. Taking one laddu everyday will keep you strong and energized.

  • 1 cup - Peanuts
  • 3/4 to 1 cup - Almonds
  • 1 cup (heaped) - Pottukadalai/roasted bengal gram
  • 1/4 cup - Flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup - Sesame seeds(white/black)
  • 1 cup - Jaggery powdered / Naatu sakkarai
  • 1 no - Cardamom
  • Ghee as needed

Preparation method:

  1. Dry roast peanuts, almonds,pottukadalai,flaxseeds,sesame seeds, cardamom until they are well roasted. Allow them to cool completely.
  2. Grind them along with jaggery powder/ naatu sakkarai as needed to a slightly coarse powder.
  3. Add hot ghee and mix well while it is still warm to make a yummy laddu. You may keep this healthy laddu outside for a week or so and if you wish to keep it for a long time then I would suggest you to keep it refrigerated . Enjoy your healthy and nutritious laddu!
